5. Don’t impulse buy at least not at the same time
6. Use foliage as flowers are ephemeral
7. Buy some plants small and some large unless very rich
8. Mix slow and fast but cull the latter
9. Space plants correctly
10. Use the best materials you can buy, correctly!
